I had at least expected an offer to send the disc back. It is also added when it changes vendors. New date is added when a seller adds an item to the catalogue. This was their answer : "Regarding release dates. I ordered this CD from AllYourMusic and sent them a mail with the explanation above. It's probably just a printing error on the Amazon website. I checked the internet and saw that the 1990 release is merely a REISSUE and not a remastered version.Ī remastered edition indeed exists and was released in 2008, but this seems to be a paper sleeve edition and obviously completely different from the 1990 release, but as I mentioned, it was not even that one that I received. Big disappointment however when I opened the package and saw that it was exactly the same 1977 album as in my collection. When I saw "Original recording remastered - EMI 1990" on Amazon, I decided to order the new release, as remastered versions usually sound much better. I already owned the 1977 release of "New Age of Earth" (label Virgin Records).
